Hi, I'm K.
I currently work as a Software Engineer at Vidrovr, an AI startup making video useful and automating soul-crushing work for a variety of industries. Prior to that, I spent six years in venture capital and startup operations. With backgrounds in industrial tech investing, computer vision in healthcare, sustainability, and with data science and engineering skills from General Assembly's Data Science Immersive, I'm moving toward my real passion of automating soul-crushing work using machine learning and data science.

Led a team of software and machine learning engineers on building features for a computer vision product that we installed in nursing homes across the Northeast. My two favorite pastimes are discussing big ideas with enjoyable people and building dashboards for personal use.

I've been a data addict most of my life. I've always logged my activites in a planner or calendar, I've always kept a detailed finance sheet since I got my first bank account at 18, but for the last four years I've been tracking every half-hour of my life and I now know exactly how much time I've spent sleeping, working, enjoying hobbies, and wasting time. It's a fascinating way to visualize my life.

As for discussing big ideas, if you ask me about economics, labor history, or astronomy, be prepared because I will want to explore the topic with you for hours.
